What should users do if they don't have their account email? (READ THE FIRST POST!) - Page 17 - About the Forums

MrWookie was gracious enough to vouch for me and PM'd admins to help me get my old username back: BarrySanders

My question is, how do I get it back after that? Try and log in with my old password? I don't have access to that e-mail anymore and I'm using a bunk/self-destructing/temporary e-mail for this acct, so how does that work?

He's saying that once he reset your 2p2 account to the new email, you'll get an email from the vbulletin system with how to do a new password, so you'll be good to go.

I haven't given anyone a new e-mail though? The one tied to this acct was one of those temporary/self-destructing emails.

So the mod who vouched for you didn't send a email for the account to be reset to as well?

If that's the case, yeah, we're going to need a good email for you. You can send it to the mod who vouched for you, or me, or Mat.

I guess my intention was for BarrySanders to have its email set to whatever KevinArnold uses, but yeah, if you used a burner email, that won't work. Don't use burner emails, people!

Well, some people are using burners to set up an account just for an IP check, but yeah, very good point.

For everyone, if you are sure you can't get back into your old account, make sure you let us know what account you want to use from now on, and if we can nuke any gimmicks already associated with that account.

Yeah, I should have asked so that I was on the same page. Thanks again though.

I sent my e-mail to Mat Sklansky via his e-mail link on his 2+2 member page. Hopefully it went through. And whenever after everything gets settled, feel free to delete this Kevin Arnold acct.

So far, I've been able to confirm 100% of people who came to me for verification. That's because people who participate in the Poker Daily Action Plan have verifiable Facebook posts, tweets, etc., that I can use for verification. So, if you participate in the DAP and need a hand here, let me know.

That one is easy.

Just have Mr. Wookie PM Mat to say that you're Riverman and also tell him what email you want associated with the account (can't be the same as this one) and they can do that for you.

Or do you just not remember the email and getting the email address information would help you reset it on your own?

hi, my normal 2+2 is my last name "boddicker"

i don't have access to my old email. i think it was registered on my college webmail account. i registered back in 2005, originally under this username (ckboddic), but had a mod change my account to my last name.

i'd like to get access back and have my account registered under my current email, if possible. i could identify a lot of the content in my PM box as proof. also, i have a few gimmick accounts that i could out as well. please pm me at this account or let me know what i can do in this thread...thanks!
