OK, I mean to spend maybe an hour or two on this, but there was a lot to go through and I just couldn't stop once I had started it. So much for an early bedtime before a busy Mother's Day - it's light outside now!

As of now, I believe everyone in this thread who requested something has either been helped or replied to, as well as anyone who has emailed or PMed me. If I've missed anyone, please let me know.

I'll be pretty busy today, so don't expect anything to happen on my end until at least tonight; not sure if Mat will be dealing with any.

Also, please keep in mind that my replies don't tell everything that is happening has been looked at. Similar-looking situations might be dealt with very differently, depending on what I find in the way of matching information between accounts, prominence of the account to be restored, etc. Don't assume that because poster X got a new password or email, that you will also.

Finally, this procedure is more time-consuming than I had anticipated, so don't assume that I or anyone else will continue doing it in the same way, especially if the requests start getting overwhelming.

Email me at the address in my profile with any information you can tell me about your old account that no one else would know - email address, birthdate, infraction history, etc., and I'll see what I can do.

I do the same as for the post above - move your current email address over to your old account, which is now done. You should be able to request a password again.

I can't get in my old account

I got the link to this thread when I sent a message to an administrator. However this really seems messed up. I KNOW my registered email address AND my prior login name "compuease" so why am I being forced to create and use a new login name...? In my case I didn't forget my email address so why doesn't it remember me?

I swear I had changed my email to the one I currently use but it does not work. Also they are saying you need to use the email you registered with, or thats the way I am reading it..

Oh well, I think I got 2 people who can verify me...

Please provide whatever proof you can think of that will demonstrate you are the original owner of the account: DOB, infraction history, vouches, etc. If someone is vouching for you, make sure I know who they are so I can contact them (if necessary).
