Shaqalicious here. I've been a member since 07 and 1500+ posts so I'd like to gain access to my original account again. My registered e-mail address is a university e-mail which is closed now.

Can someone activate my PM's so I can get in contact a couple mods to get a vouch? I can give the details of some of my recent PM's as well.

Mat, I can't PM. My e-mail currently associated with this account is extremely similar to my old 2+2 name. I created the e-mail address a while ago so people in the staking forums could e-mail me (and I posted it there ... so you can see it posted in a particular thread there under my name and I can still access that e-mail account) ... because someone didn't pay what he was supposed to and I was working on it and I wanted an e-mail for all of the stakees to be able to talk with me. (I could give more details. And this isn't over either ... he has been paying regularly but still owes more.)

I've been a Beginner's Questions mod for a while also.

I permanently closed two of my e-mail accounts once I learned 2+2 was compromised.

I just e-mailed you. I remembered slightly incorrectly, to my detriment (I never did post that e-mail address , I just e-mailed other people from it [maybe I PM'd it, I don't remember]).

So several of us have said the same thing I'm about to say, but I haven't seen it specifically addressed by a PTB, either in the OP or in the thread.

I *do* remember what email address I signed up with, I just no longer have access to it...yahoo axed it after a long period of inactivity. So, if I can provide a mod/Mat the name of that email address, will that demonstrate I am who I say I am and can get my pw reset or the rest link changed to my new email (the one I just used for this account?)

The OP only deals with people who do not remember the email addy they signed up with, not people who remember it but can no longer access it. Additionally, of course my laptop busted during the outage and so now that I'm using a different laptop I guess that means my IP will be different?

I never became known to mods or made any friends here that know me beyond 2p2 so no one can vouch for me. I can recall the details of some PMs if we do eventually go down that road, and also I can say that I have never received any infraction points that I am aware of except I was banned a few days for rickrolling once.

And as has been mentioned, this isn't possible. The email address associated with this account and the one you say is yours aren't even remotely similar.

the email i am using right know has both this account and my first account (_Koby_ ftr) activation codes confirmation emails, i use this email primarily for 2p2 and other types of non student/non work related /non financial stuff, and even if i am not 100% sure, i am pretty sure i never changed my email account.

if i can prove you the first and last name of that account, my birth date and my account registration number, can i retrieve the account? or at least perma-ban/erase the account?

Hey Bobo I just created this new account so I could try to get my access to my old account back.

At the time I created my 2p2 account I had also created an email address. I still remember the email address, but I literally never used it for anything so I never had to log into it and don't remember the password. Hence, I cannot get access back on my old 2p2 account.

I do the same as for the post above - move your current email address over to your old account, which is now done. You should be able to request a password again.

As I said, the email on the old account is nothing like this one. Does it help you to know it was an @live.com.pt address?
