Viewing 2p2 from iphone/Android: Tapatalk - Page 49 - About the Forums

I get:

- cannot connect to server try again later whenever I try to log in
- when I click a thread or the list of forums, I get no information back

Basically, tapatalk is entirely unusable for me. Samsung s6 edge Verizon on marshmallow.

Follow up question: if this thing suddenly started working, can one moderate on tapatalk now?

Sounds like you need to uninstall and reinstall. Not having any of those problems with the current version and my Samsung S7. Moderation also works.

There are a few bugs but overall it is working well.

I have a tapatalk login using Facebook so subscribed forums come back when reinstalling or installing on a new device. Unfortunately personalized settings dont come back.

I use the 2+2 app on iPhone 6 and it seems to be terrible.

- It asks me to sign in everytime I open the app.

- A lot of the times, it gives me an error on sign in and works on the second/third attempt.

- After logging in, when I click on the "Participated" tab, it only shows me the names of the forums with small numbers written next to them, and I have to click them again to open up my subscribed threads. It's not like how "Subscribed threads" on the web version.

- There is no option to see "New posts".

Why is the app so atrocious?

2p2 app definitely seems to be slowly falling apart, but I'll stick with it until it becomes impossible to use. Way too many complaints about tapatalk for me to consider switching.

no one saved the apk for the old app ? i still love it and am not adjusting well to tapatalk. i wish i backed up the apk file before i lost my phone.

I just switched phones and the old 2+2 app disappeared when I switched. Now have a Galaxy S7 edge. is tapatalk basically the only option? What about Forums for Android?

You should be able to find tapatalk version 4.12.2 online, download it, disable automatic updates! Don't register with tapatalk, but log into your 2+2 account using the app.

Mess around with the settings, turn off thread previews, use dark mode etc. It seems to work well, with no adverts.

Have to use Web view (3 clicks) to see some images, and no polls show up.

I just installed tapatalk - I can read the forums it seems but can't log in - it just spins while trying to connect to the server. This is on an android phone.

there used to be a 2p2 app that worked well - is that still an option?
