Viewing 2p2 from iphone/Android: Tapatalk - Page 43 - About the Forums

Tapatalk app used to work fine for me, but now quotes don't turn up (just some white space) and sometimes the content of a post appears twice.

Any thoughts? Tried re-installing / clearing data but that didn't work.

I use android on a Galaxy SII

Not seeing those yet in Android. Might be an Apple thing for now. 2p2 should be getting another $3.50 a month for those impressions.

I see that Tapatalk released version 5.0 for iPhone. I am still pretty happy with 3.2.1. I was scared away from updating when people went nuts over 4.0 and the subsequent releases. I'm looking forward to reviews of 5.0.

Is tapatalk still terribad/broken?

Just got an android phone and already installed the 2p2 app. Should I bother trying tapatalk or is it better to just stick with the regular 2p2 app?

I think the 2+2 app is much better, my opinion.

Would love to know if anyone is using the new imgur app for android. Used to easily be able to pick a number of different link types, including bbcode and drop them right in posts. With the new one it at least looks like there is just one link that it copies?

Funny you mention that. I'm sitting here looking at the imgur app in Google Play wondering if I should get it or not. 3.6/5, lots of complaints about recent changes in the reviews section.

Favorite one so far is "I would rather not sprain my neck watching imgur, tilting my head like a dog."

I've scrolled through the first 50 or so reviews, only 2 of them are positive. Everyone else is asking for the old version back.

edit: Just found Opengur, looks much better. Going with that.

The Tapatalk Android app does its own pic hosting so ingur is not a necessary step anymore. Just attach your image from your device to a post and you are done.

Exactly my problem with the tt app as well.

Will check out opengur though, or at least until they fix the imgur app.

The new versions of tapatalk suck but I think the old versions are better than the 2p2 app. I'm using 4.9.5 personally. If you use a zip signer tool you can prevent it from trying to upgrade to a newer version.
