The poster's name(and location) is part of the joke. Really the best part. If you don't have that cultural context you're not getting the full effect.

Only the admins can do this.

They will only do it if you have a good reason, otherwise they would be changing 20,000 sn's a day on people's whims.

fwiw before I gave them a good reason whoever changed it for me ignored me for like a week. And then I was like "dood wtf" and he was like "you need a good reason to do it" and I was like "ohhh, well here's the reason"

When I first made my screen name, I was THaC (or ThaC, I can't remember) because I thought capital letters were cool. Then I realized capital letters suck, so now I'm thac. But seriously, name-changing without a good reason isn't really done too often due to the amount of people here and the insane number of requests there'd be.

Well what reason is good enough?

Ive already had it changed once from redandblue to RedandBlue. Yes thats right, they let me change the R and B to capitals with no reason, but I'm not allowed to completely change it?
