We generally don't allow complete name changes unless there's a pretty good reason for the request. This has become even more true since the switch to vB.

Is the point that I'm tired of looking like an egotistical idiot a good enough reason?

TheProdigy is a stupid name, and it makes me look like I think I'm a God at poker when I am not. I would rather just have a play on my last name, which is my normal real life nickname, which is Schwallie.

Sorry if I've came off the wrong way it was just I messaged a mod and they told me simply to message an admin and they would make it happen. Unfortunately I never got any messages explaining anything back and they just ignored me instead of telling how things go

Make good posts and how many you have doesn't matter. Having a butt-load of posts only matters to getting posters to let slide worthless one-liners like the kool-kid clique is known for.


However, if Ryan wants to take pity on you there are two options:

1) Go ahead and change your handle but give you a custom title of "formerly: TheProdigy".

2) Change your handle, perhaps without your agreement at his whim, to something like "So-calledProdigy" or "FailedProdigy". That would let posters know you have some humility now.
