I was disappointed to see an ad on Tapatalk based on a search I made on a my laptop. It seems like Tapatalk has access to browsing history associated with your google account.

I just deleted the app. Any recommended alternative apps? If not, I guess I won't be browsing 2p2 on mobile devices.

edit: Or the ad could be coming from Google. Unsure.

Alright, I reinstalled the app. I may accidentally signed-in with Google. That pops up occasionally.

Lets see if I still get those ads.

You don’t need an app. You could go old school and use a web browser on your phone... That’s what I do.

But do you do that because there are functions as a mod for which you need to use the site?

No, I do that because I don’t like Tapatalk. I used a browser when i wasn’t a mod as well. Tweets and videos never seem to work well with tapatalk either.

I was doing that before I got Tapatalk, but that's kinda inconvenient. Requires zooming in etc.

So after reinstalling Tapatalk, I saw the same ad I saw before deleting it. I'm going to assume my previos browsing history is saved somewhere. Hopefully none of the new ads will reflect any recent history.

Must admit that I don't mind browsing on my phone using the web for certain forums of this site.
