For the record "vs" is not a word in the form it's been written.
semi-pro players are ineligible on university teams

Not in London at that time. He played for Bedford Town in the Southern League.

Your insistence on the dumb point regarding "vs" is why you suck.

Because I queried the abbreviation "vs" ?

I don't want to repeat the names but they were based on his actual name. Yes we were good friends we read Physics together.

That was in an office in London. The gay guy was being victimised by the rest of the office but I befriended him and stopped the others from picking on him
He seemed quite pleased that the unpleasantness had stopped (who wouldn't be tbh ?).

Just a little humour. Remember jokes ?

Wait. Did the Asian guy have a name like Wang or something?

I had a dorm resident advisor guy in college names Gang Wang...but you could also do Asian names in reverse so it could be Wang Gang. We thought it was hilarious. Wang was cool.

There is an Asian restaurant at a Las Vegas hotel called Ping Pang Pong. Is that a racist name for a restaurant? Input appreciated.

What's amusing is that Jonathan Swift was almost certainly a racist, sexist, homophobic, classist, religious bigot.

Cwoc's hero ladies and gentlemen.

The American basketball player ? No it was a chap called Gurmit Ubhi and it was many moons ago. He was like an Asian George Best, at university level at least.

Cwoc's hero.
It's just a quote. He was good at sticking words next to each other. Is anyone who quotes "Gulliver's Travels" also smeared like this by you ?

It was a reasonable standard. Our centre-forward played some games for Millwall and a few years earlier the University of London centre-half went on to have a successful career at Tottenham (John Lacy). Our team beat Tottenham's third team in a friendly. Have you ever played pro or semi-pro football ?

I was the long snapper for the Boston Breakers of the USFL. I forced a fumble by Herschel Walker once.

The British might do it that way. Generally they don't add a period when the abbreviated word includes the first and last letter, but do when the ending is cut off (for example, "Mr"). Technically it's a contraction.

Either way it seems like an odd thing to be nitty about considering that the trends have us moving away from putting a period/full stop on everything (not to mention that this is a ****ing message board). Give Chicago another edition or two and I wouldn't be surprised to see "vs" as perfectly acceptable.

Since we're nitting it up though, are you French? I notice you keep putting a space before all of your question marks and exclamation points.
