Of course it's far from perfect, but it's useful information, and probably the best measure we have as a starting point. Especially when it's that low - if it was a couple hundred a month, that would still be quite low, but you could argue it could be built into more as a standalone forum. A dozen...that's a really steep hill to climb.
The next best measure would be the amount of interest expressed in this thread. So far, two people (including OP) have shown support. Again, not a perfect measure - but two people in a week certainly isn't demonstrating a lot of pent-up demand.
Don't get me wrong; I'd love to see us have a thriving Atlantic City forum. But I also don't want to see us open it and then have to discuss closing it a few months later since it got no interest and is fragmenting what little interest AC poker has over multiple threads.
OP, if you haven't already, I'd suggest trying to drum up some support for this among your fellow AC players, and direct them to this thread so they can let TPTB know that they would post in such a forum.
