In this thread I made a post in which I used the word ni ggardly, but the word was censored out by the software. Please fix this problem.

EDIT: I tried to link a dictionary definition to the word *****rdly, but the software censors out the word from the URL link as well, rendering it useless.

While that is a vaild word a work around isn't needed. You can just use another word.

*****rdly does not contain a bad word, and is in no way related to the racial slur. I didn't use the word to be shocking or clever, I used it because it was appropriate and, to my knowledge, has no direct synonym to replace it. There's no reason to censor the word, especially since allowing it won't prevent the software from censoring out the slur.

Yes, really. Notice I said "to my knowledge." Also, I don't think that many of the words listed there are direct synonyms, or even synonyms at all. "Mean" certainly isn't, although "miserly" is one that I hadn't though of.

OK, well you're right, but unfortunately, it contains the letters of what the site owners perceive as an unwelcome slur. The problem isn't that the word is unrelated or has no negative connotations, the problem is that the BBV4L crew will pile-drive into the ground any workaround of something offensive until it gets added to the filter. So it was with a-hole, c***sucker, and other words. As for *****rdly, I don't see adding that as a wildcard as doing anything other than inviting more of the same.

This isn't a crime against humanity, just use "cheap" or "chintzy" for god's sake.
