i just don't understand how to contact the mod that banned you like it says in the sticky if there's no way to contact them, i misunderstood, i have emailed 2+2 requesting them to close the gimmick account but i think someone should change the sticky on banning

How do you find out who banned you and speak with them about possibly reducing the ban length or removing it if there's no way to go about this until after the ban is up?

I was confused, just trying to follow the steps in the sticky, not cause more problems.

oh yeah, now I remember this guy.

He was banned for piling it on in a thread where OP was pretty obviously suicidal. Hes got zero chance of getting it reversed from me. Was only like 5 days or something anyway

I've been lurking the forums for some time. My roommate and I decided to make accounts tonight and I got banned! For spam? No warning, no nothing... great way to run a business.

And I would pm the mod, but I can't find the button for that.

you can't pm as a new user. You can try emailing one of the admins however, or email the mod that banned you.

Generally when you post spam or spammy-type posts right away, you'll be banned on the spot by the first mod that sees it. Maybe reconsider what you actually posted and how it might look coming from a guy who just registered.
