It still is,* because the fact that the permaban was rescinded and Assani Fisher's posting privileges were reinstated does not change the fact that a permaban was, in fact, administered, which was the question Tryptamean asked. Hillary Clinton is Constitutionally ineligible to serve as Secretary of State for similar reasons.


* Presuming, of course, that there have been no posters with a postcount greater than Assani Fisher's** who have ever been permabanned, which has not been conclusively demonstrated, although I would say it is unlikely the case that such a poster exists.

Very true. I contend that the existence of another poster with more than 20,000 posts who has been permabanned is rather unlikely, although, as you say, we are unable to conclusively verify that at this juncture.

It did not. The aforementioned mbillie1, who has since been permabanned again, had the greatest postcount of those, and that remains the case.

I'll see what I can do about breaking these records. Getting banned is the easy part.

I've always wondered what the forum will look like for me after I've been banned (hopefully this doesn't happen). Sometimes I make tilt posts, and think 'oh fk me, I'm definitely getting banned for that one'. So, I'm wondering how I'll know because doesn't your IP get blocked or something? Will it look like the DB error page or the forum-is-down-for-maintenance page?
