yeah i made a thread about that like a year ago in RGT. he was gone completely for like 5 months and nobody said anything. i think he actually got mad at me for pointing it out, thereafter he would constantly tell me how I'm "on thin ice"

Pointing out facts to the moderators is considered to be "trolling" in RGT.

Post #308 ITT alone shows a clear and distinct moderating agenda. This alone, in my opinion, shows him to be completely unfit to do the job he is currently assigned to.

RGT needs to be modded more harshly IMO. I'm not privy to the information of which posts are infracted, but if half the ones that I thought were worthy were in fact infracted, then a decent chunk of the posters would be banned by now.

People just poo sling way too much in there. Both theists and atheists alike.

I've never had a bad experience with Jib. Only time I've PM'd him was to inquire about reporting posts, because I didn't think hostile posts were being infracted(still don't know obviously). That said, I'm fairly new to RGT.

Also agree both of those threads mentioned above should have been locked straight away.

Yeah...when the moderating was amped up the inconsistencies in the moderating were too. That's not a great solution. What is a solution is to demote jibninjas and promote bunny.

I PMed both Mat and Jibninjas about the update to this thread last night. Both have been online since. Both seem to be practicing avoidance. Way to be leaders of 2+2 guys.

I did notice the similar threads (delusional/mentally ill), but I figured since the delusional atheist thread had so many posts they just let it go. On the other hand, it's impossible to attack an atheist's "beliefs" in the same way christian beliefs are attacked.

Well, the point wasn't the length of the thread, or if interesting and productive discussion eventually took place. The issue is why one thread was allowed to get so many posts (it obviously at some point had just a handful of posts, and basically sniping posts at that--so why wasn't it shut down at that point?) and the other was shut down before it was allowed to have so many posts.

Edit to add: it took a whole 35 minutes from the creation of that thread to it's lock (the one that got locked--well, the other one did, but maybe in reply to a few PM's or this thread?) while the other one was allowed to flourish for a long time (I'm not going to look but several weeks?)

as if jib's endorsement of stu pidasso - one of the widest known trolls on all of 2+2 - wasn't damning enough. I don't see how anyone being half way objective would allow Jibninjas to continue moderating that forum for another minute after reading and verifying this

Just for full facts; the thread "attacking" religion was created 6:24 PM yesterday and closed at 7:01 PM (so actually 37 minutes, I rounded).

The other thread was open for a week (Created 8/27, closed this morning). So not quite the several weeks I guessed, but still long enough, and it did contain 250 posts (OP and 249 replies). Point is, it definitely wasn't flying under the radar.
