Private Messages changes - "Why can't I PM?" - Page 24 - About the Forums

Will my ability to send private messages kick in at the appropriate time or do I have to ask a mod to enable it for me? Just wondering because it says in the faq

"If you need to contact a moderator or the administration before your PM box is enabled, please use posts or send us an e-mail."

I am not trying to get someone to do it faster than it is supposed to happen and I assume it activates on its own just saw this quote in the FAQ and wanted to make sure.

The exact number of posts/days can't be said. This is to sap some of the motivation spammers have to game the system. I do know, however, that it takes a few days.

@ToTheInternet thanks, is there any chance that I can get to send pm's earlier than that?I read in the FAQ that I could contact a moderator and he can enable them for me, I need to be able to pm ppl,judges escrow etc for the bet

A new account with inactive PMs can still receive PMs from forum moderators.

Also, forum moderators (fomods? lol) do not have the ability to turn anybody's PMs off and on.
