Agreed, the moderation of political discussions has been hilariously bad for some time, but the current regime makes me think not to bother with it in the slightest if they are actively stifling conversation

i don't venture in to politics in any form or forum, but i do love the toss around of the term regime. cracks me up when i see it anymore.

I think if we can get someone better by the post Labor Day election cycle we should be fine. Plenty of existing mods/greens etc can do it. And it would only be from Oct 1 to Dec 1. This is currently a down time where almost any moron should be able to mod, but if you’re struggling now it’s not going to get easier when the election starts and posts per day goes up.

Why do guys without medical degrees, any patients, or experience in the field think they can't live without repeatedly expressing their opinions about a medical diagnosis? I didn't recognize your name as a poster in politics. It appears you made 1 post this year in there. And you say "if" mods are actively stifling conversations, indicating you don't even know one way or another. Yet you jumped in as the first response. Seems odd to me.

To any mods out there: I will gladly step down once you confirm that you have actually received the full $1500 payment upfront to a personal account of yours. No IOU from ed or similar promises to pay later. Money up front.

For a small cut I will also permaban anyone I think might cause you problems on my way out. Since mods can't undo other mods bans, think of it as a risk free investment in your modding future.

And ed: obviously I don't mod this thread and each forum has its own take on what does or does not fall under the category of personal insults. But, as I suspect you already know, if you call me or anyone else in politics a moron it will result in mod action.
