Well, I haven't found the mother lode yet, but I'm sure it's there.

I have had multiple people ask me to be a mod in politics (not people who matter), and my answer is always no. I'm not a good fit for that spot, nor do I give a damn enough to mod. The only two forums I'd ever mod are ssnl or llsnl, and that's because I owe the strat side of this forum a debt of gratitude.

This makes good sense to me. It seems so readily apparent I'm surprised people even need to suggest it.

I didn't know the existing mods were 'liberals', I thought they were just disinterested mods who modded politics.

I am fairly liberal. tomdemaine and RR are libertarian/anarchocapitalists.

Of course, liberals, in general, don't really exist any more. They're neocons now, just like their dear leader Obomber.

Well, OK then. We've satisfied your request. We actually have a neoconservative and two ACists modding Politics. Good job. You win. Although maybe we should dig deep into the past and recruit a pre-Obama liberal.

Lol at you saying liberals don't exist and then quoting one of the few true liberals left, Hedges. Oh and neocons are the original conservatives, raping and pillaging other peoples and countries while adhering to some sort of moralistic bull**** at home and making the rich richer and the poor poorer is about as conservative as you can get-there's no truer definition of conservatism.

Anyway, there you have it, two 'conservative' (your definition) and one 'liberal' mod, us 'liberals' should be nominating someone else as a mod to make it balanced. Whiners.

There is a lot more to modding politics than "get equal political representation, become expert".

Nibbles would be TURRIBLE as a mod IMO.

This, and also, why does he think Nibbles is a conservative? Even from an "equal representation" standpoint, it'd just be adding another ACist to the fold.

I think you guys need to bring in Proportional Representation

I'd say we are just about at proportional representation, esp. since it's not a presidential election year. We're mostly acists and libertarians, followed by liberals. The conservatives don't have enough presence to merit a seat.
