He sent me a PM:

I clicked it and led me to www.vncheatcodes.com

Have I been hacked/keylogged etc?

I highlighted the link before clicking and it was a link to vncheatcodes.com. Doesn't sound malicious but even if it isn't he's still a spammer so IP ban plz.

Did you download any cheat codes? If not, just opening a webpage should be fine.

For the record, safe computing means you don't click links from people you don't know unless you know where they are going. If you aren't sure where a link in a thread or PM goes quote the post and you'll see where the link is really going. At least on 2+2. It's harder with HTML email so you're better off just deleting them.

No.

I was banned by Mike Haven becuase he didn't like me and "suspected" me as a scammer. Did I scam anybody? No.

I told Mat Sklansky this and he has allowed me to create a new account and continue posting, but because of Mike Haven I am no longer allowed to take part in the P2P Transfer thread.

but ran a couple of Virus scans afterward just to be on the safe side and nothing was found.

I am running Virus and Spyware scans again after reading this post http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=145 regarding that PM in the "Cornell Fiji Hacked" thread in NVG. The first time I ran scans it found and deleted a Trojan but it had the same name as a Patch I downloaded earlier so I assumed it was the file I downloaded and not clicking on that link.
