The title “Politics” doesn’t make a great deal of sense for a forum where actual politics are in fact never discussed, but instead every page features some of the most joyless and mean-spirited nutcases you could ever imagine wishing death on either the president, impoverished conservatives from the Midwest, or all elderly white people. Calling it “Politics” is of course very much like calling a group of slobbering halfwits repeatedly falling over “ballet”; just because you call it that doesn’t mean it’s so.

So for this reason, I took the liberty of coming up with some suggestions for alternative, more accurate names:


“Trump Broke Our Brains”

“Headspace Hotel - No Vacancy”

“Observatory of the Irreversibly Deranged”

“USA Mental Gymnastics Team”

“Today’s Far Left Shut-Ins: The New Impotent White Male Rage”

“We’re Going to Whine So Much, You’re Going to Get Tired of Whining”


…and so on. There really are so many vastly superior alternatives to the self-evidently incorrect “Politics” moniker.

Feel free to add your own suggestions!

I’m in the bathroom at thanksgiving crying. Part of the problem is the people in politics forum are old so they don’t have anything useful to say about the cultural war.

How about just "house politics" as that is all the Democrats have at the moment and when you think about how everyone carries on in there it may as well just be political debate that is confined to one's house and not out there for everyone to see in the public albeit these forums kind of defeat that goal.
