Where did the hand come from? I get an import error importing it into holdem manager. The header isn't the same as the hand history I'm comparing it to.

This sounds like some local issue. I get the popup in IE8, Chrome, Opera and Firefox - tested all just now.

Update your flash, clear your cache/cookies/history.

I think the problem is you're using PT3's processed hand which makes it prettier and easier to look at. What's above is the raw HH that I get in Holdem Manager when I copy and paste.

I'm using slick - I've tested it in every skin though.

My HH converter link when I hit post reply pops up a box.

Did you make sure you're on the latest flash?

          Do you have popups enabled?

I see a link that says "hand history converter" when I disable adblk

It points back to the current page. If you open it in a new window it goes back to the new post page.

I've tried disabling a d b l o ck updated flash unclicked popup blocker but same problem.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with having had AB running.

Try downloading Chrome and see if it works. I'll check on our end and see if there's a way to undo that. I just tried in IE and FF and both work fine.

Never mind, it doesn't work for home games by simply copying/pasting. One of the tourney captains gave me the solution to make it work, though. I thought I'd share it here for anyone who uses Stars Home Games and wants to post HH:

          1. Copy and paste from Stars "Instant Hand History" into the Hand History Converter.

          2. Remove "Home" from "Home Game" in the title.

          3. Remove the home game title (whatever title the Admin has given the game itself)

          4. Add the dollar sign ($) to the limits (ie, if the limit is 1/2, change it to $1/$2)

          Works like a charm.

          Preflop pot
It hasn't been mentioned itt before, but it has been pointed out to me that this converter is miscalculating the pot before the preflop action. Here's a thread chosen at random from SSMTT to illustrate it, but all threads using this hand converter are the same.

          http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/23...-hand-1015288/

It is counting the antes (9 * 75 = 675), but it is missing the the 1800 chips from the blinds which are also paid before the cards are dealt. I had a check of a few threads in SSMTT, just to be sure, and it's the same for all tourney hands. I just had a quick check in the uNL FR forum and picked the following cash game hand at random.

          http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/78...ision-1032471/

Same thing basically, but as there are no antes in cash games the preflop pot is totally absent there. It's probably less of an issue in cash games, because the preflop pot can already be determined just by saying that it's 10NL, or whatever.

But in tourneys, and particularly in the later stage push fold spots in turbos that a lot of people post, it is quite important that the info is correct. Once it gets to post flop, it seems that it magically adds the blinds and the totals look correct, so it's just preflop.

          Replayer
Another thing - a different SSMTT thread caused me to notice that even if you elect not to show results at all, not even in a spoiler, people can still use the hand replayer tab to find out what happened at showdown. A relatively new poster almost spoiled a thread in SSMTT by saying something along the lines of, "just checked the replayer, shame villain had [whatever villain had] but at least you hit your backdoor flush". Can it be fixed so that the replayer stops at the same point as the hh? If it's a hand where all betting is complete and one of the players is all in on the flop, then the replayer should stop on the flop as well. Bsaically the replay should stop wherever the OP chooses to truncate the hh. It's pretty useful for strategy discussion, particularly for beginners. Instead of focusing on the decision facing the OP, with only the same information available to him at the time, some people, particularly beginners, become results oriented when they know which turn and river cards were dealt. Such knowledge diminishes the effectiveness of the strategy discussion, as it was not given to the OP who posted the hand for feedback at the time he made his decision in the game.

          Thanks

          TT
