Hello Fozzy,

I'm trying to import one hand from WPN to the converter (here on 2p2) and it doesn't work.
I get the error messege: "The following errors occurred:
1 hands found, but nothing was imported"

I copied the hand to note pad then posted it without format...

ugh.

Help!

Thanks

The 2+2 forum hh converter code will need to be updated for the new WPN v2 HH format. Please send us the hand in a support ticket* so one of our team can write it up.

If you right-click - 'view' the hand in HM2 you can try to export it to '2+2 format' and then paste that into the forums. I am not sure if this will work with the new WPN v2 HH format or not but it is more likely to work (with the updated HM2 code) than the forum converter code (which needs to be updated).

*Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM2Archive\2016\07\31).

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. *If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then click 'Share' > 'Create Link' > Copy Link' *and right-click > 'Paste' the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com or google drive.

Hello Fozzy,

Thanks for the quick response.

A couple of problems there. When I go into my archive hands/time stamps aren't accurate... I've had zero luck getting the time right and when I try to manually sync it, the hands don't track very accurately (sometimes). Also, that's a lot of hands to specifically go through to find "the one" I was trying to post.

I did pick a random hand from the archive to try and post; but it didn't work either.

These WPN updates have been more than frustrating... But, I don't really blame HM2. I'm still having a glitch where pots that are big (200BB or so) sometimes don't track at all... Which is especially frustrating because I'm addicted to looking at my HM2 results!

Thanks-

This question belongs in a support ticket on our site, or in our support thread in the commercial software forum, for future reference:

The new WPN v2 software has to be (re)configured like it is the first time you ever played on that software/site. You need to check/configure the auto import folder in the client and hm2, preferred seating in both, site time adjustment in HM2, etc.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time.

If you continue to have problems:

Please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread. In the ticket send all the following:

Please follow the instructions in this FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screenshot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Attach a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue*
- Close HM2 and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

* All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.* It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Do you have any idea about why hand history converter box doesn't pop up on 2+2 page?(when starting a new thread or posting a reply)

Thanks

I am not sure what you mean. Can you explain in more detail or attach some pics of the issues please? I assume it would be something on the 2+2 side of things and not on our end, as we just handle the parsing/conversion from what I understand.

You don't see the option I circled in red when replying to or starting a new thread?

FWIW, you won't see it in the "Quick Reply" box - you need to press "Go Advanced", or it will also show up if you quoted someone.

Oh, thank you for the assist. After being on the forums since 2007 some of the steps become 2nd nature and I don't think to explain 2+2 forum steps like I might a HM2 or HM3 related reply.

A follow up in regards to this issue and all other known issues reported over the past umpteen posts:

No need to send new hands as WPN actually hasn't worked for some time and we have a number of other known issues. I put together a complete list of all known issues for our QA/Testing Manager so he can assign them to a developer.

Yes it was my 2+2 setting. Editor interface was set to basic editor.
You need to use standard editor otherwise hand history converter box does not work.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HM-9004 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

For now you will want to use the HM2 Hand Viewer forum export format options.

Trying to convert what types of hands, from which networks?

Thanks, I think I still had sleep in my eyes when I was replying here at 4am yesterday. I am writing it up for the devs and will see if they can finally work on the laundry list of other converter issues that I documented for them back in July.

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HM-9063 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

For now you will need to use the Hand History Viewer's forum format export option - https://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/que.../Hand+Viewer#9

I believe it has been down for some time but I will forward this to our developers to let them know. We are planning to build a completely new converter but I assume that will need to wait until after 2+2 moves to their new 'Vanilla' forum software.

For now you will need to use the HM2/3 or PT4 Hand History Viewer forum export option, or run a raw copy of the hand through a 3rd party hand history converter/site.

You would need whoever posted the hand to send you the hand in the original format, before it was converted to 2+2 format.

Anyway to do the opposite? Copy a hand from the forum and convert to HM2/PT4 format (basically undo the first conversion)

The goal would be to grab interesting hands from the high stakes forum

There is no easy way to do that, or software that will do that for you, that I am aware of.
