NVG ... and books? NVG ... and books?

Why was books added to this subforum? It is completely out of character for the rest of the topics discussed there.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it's because this site is owned by a publishing company and they'd like the threads about books to be in the busiest forum, instead of one that gets little traffic.

You've changed, man. It used to be about the gossip

Changing this News, Views and Gossip threads name to New, Views, Gossip & Books

What do strategy/poker related books have to do with NVG? The site is a shadow of what it used to be and now you tard the most trafficked and interesting thread on the forum with people trying to push their books? Makes no sense.

Move the "books' to another lesser trafficked section. Lets make NVG great again

Agreed!

This thread is the worst move in dgis back's 2+2 history.

All in favor of a ban, say Aye.

The worst move in 2+2 history was 2+2 not becoming poker room affiliates.

Except that our legal advice was not to do this.

Best wishes,

I always thought not getting in on the training site bandwagon was one of the worst moves in 2+2 history. I get that 2+2 is a publishing company, but I feel like a nice chunk of money was missed out on getting in on doing videos.

If you want to see how much this site has really deteriorated go check out the MTT forum.

It is now exclusively about pio solver results and has little to do with how to actually win a poker tournament.

Which is probably why there has been a total of 3 posts since Sunday, only 1 post on all threads since 9 AM yesterday.

And that post is in a thread is actually seriously asking whether it is a good idea to call off 25bb's out of the SB to a bigger stack all in, with 15 runners left in a PKO (including guys with <5 bb stacks,) when what you hold is 10-9 ss (but it was sooted!)

Was it that long ago that the brightest minds in tournament poker were posting there?

A solver/GTO bull**** containment forum would be a great idea

I would suggest that the mod EGGS would be an ideal choice since he believes that

I see the merge/closed message about books is gone and some made a new thread there, too.
