Non stop spam pop ups when browsing on mobile - Page 4 - About the Forums

These ads that are inlayed in between posts (on both mobile and PC) are some of the worst ads from a UX perspective I have ever seen.

I can appreciate that traffic might be down and there's a need to increase revenues, but these are horrible, and there has to be a better way to get paid. I can't believe these even exist tbh as I can't imagine any site thinking they'd be a good idea. But you learn something new every day I guess.

Bottom pop-up is back for me this morning on mobile. What’s even more annoying is that it’s always the exact same add for a local hospital. After seeing it 100 items over the last couple days, by now I know that I’ll have to wait only 10 minutes in their ER.

Bottom popup and mid post are still extremely aggressive for me. Very tilting.

I'm not complaining about the amount or placement of ads. I am complaining that occasionally some ad redirects me to an obvious scam. If that stops I'll be happy and if not I'll leave

I'm getting these bottom pop-up and interstitial ads too on almost every page I visit, on both my PC and my tablet. It makes the site virtually unusable.

The bottom pop ups are terrible on a small tablet. They take up too much of the screen and the little x to close them is too small. When you either try to ignore it and navigate regularly or try to close it you end up visiting Annie's web site.

This will be the last time I view this site from my mobile and probably from any other device. I posted several times about shady ass adverts that redirect to obvious scams and absolutely nothing has changed. I just got redirected for the last time.

I am sure there other ways to raise funds that dont involve raping end user experience for a few pennies
