Anyone else getting tons of spam popups on here lately when browsing on mobile? Getting really sick of it. I should probably just be using brave with built in ad blocking, but I dont love the browser. Mods, is there anything that can be done to avoid getting bombarded by these bottom feeder scam pop ups?

1) If no one else seems to be having this problem, it's possible it's on your end. I guess we'll see if it's common now that you've started this thread.
2) Mods would have nothing to do with this.
2) We don't run pop-ups, so whether it's on your end or ours, these are some kind of rogue ads. If it's something on our end, the more details you can give, the better. IE is this through a mobile browser, Tapatalk, or...? What are the ads for, when do they come up, etc.

I’ll take screenshots next time it happens. I’ve pinned it to only 2+2 as I’ve closed all other browser windows and they still pop. They’re the really obnoxious type like you’re the winner of a $100 amazon gift card and then an “accept” and “cancel” official looking dialogue. Google chrome IOS mobile, pop up blocker enabled, though about half the time it hijacks my screen and pops anyway.

iPhone for me. Only happens on 2+2, no other sites. Been happening every time I open from mobile. Sometimes right away, sometimes after 5 minutes or so.

Again, only happens on this site.

I tried clearing my history multiple times and it keeps happening. I blame “insticator” ad that’s at the very bottom of the page, sometimes right before the popup it’lol snap to the bottom of the page by the stupid Rounders survey / insticator ad, then it’s off to free amazon gift card land.

I found that on Android using Firefox with do not track and tracking protection enabled prevents scummy companies like Insticator and FirstImpression.io from invading my privacy and ruining my 2+2 browsing experience.

I have also had redirects from this site while browsing with chrome on my phone's browser. Last night the redirect was to some malicious site, which chrome prevented from opening. That was the first time I ever got that kind of redirect, ever.

It doesn't happen very often on this site for me; certainly not as often as other sites.

Yeah, that's our suspicion as well. We have them looking into it now.
