Hello, everyone!

As a part of our long-term strategy to build a brand of a place for intelligent discussions about poker, we will no longer tolerate personal attacks on 2+2. All posts containing a personal attack should be deleted. We encourage all 2+2'ers to report such posts and we will take actions as fast as possible. We will monitor whether the change plays out and revert it if necessary.

Your feedback is welcome.

Can you comment on the origin of this new rule. Was it done with extensive consultation with the community? Has the community being calling for this rule? Or was it a sort of top down imposition?

I been saying this for years that the toxic trolls ruined 2+2. Good thing its finally enforced cause everyone I know who actually helped people with poker quit posting from the ridiculous comments. Maybe some of grinders will come back and post some interesting topics and make this a good poker forum again.

The OP should double the salary of the mods for enforcing this new policy. Actually, triple their pay.

Currently, we decide subjectively whether the post contains personal attacks. Usually, it's obvious. If not, then we don't delete the post.
