My brother is new to the twoplustwo forums, and came here to formally apply for a potential backing deal. I also suggested that he started reading the forums and posting hands because he's starting to take his poker game seriously. In order to apply for the backing, he had to send a PM to the backer but couldn't until he had some posting history. I told him to go into the forums and make some posts, and then he got a message telling him he was banned forever??? If you make it a rule to have a certain number of posts before you can PM, how do you get enough posts???

this explains the PM situation.

i would have suggested he at least stick around the forums and contribute before even bothering to apply for something like that.
