Not sure if anyone knows, but I believe there is a bug with the mobile app, after installing Marshmallow on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (possibly other phones, too).

Anytime I open a thread, the first post has the username, but the post is always blank.

Depending on the size of the thread, sometimes the first 2, 3, 4, etc. posts are blank as well.

If I scroll down a little, sometimes the posts appear, but then disappear when I scroll back up. Sometimes they don't disappear when I scroll back up. It's kind of hit or miss, but they normally do disappear.

In the video, you can actually see the OP appear and disappear, twice.

I also noticed that before installing the Marshmallow update, there used to be a little bubble (for lack of better words), that had 3 dots in it, on my screen. I could move the bubble around my screen freely. I could also click the bubble and some different settings would appear. I don't remember exactly what the settings were, but I believe that "refresh" was one of the options. That bubble is no longer available since the update.

The app has been crashing a lot too, like when I am just scrolling up and down through a thread. It's happened 3 or 4 times since I updated 1.5 days ago.

Lastly, where can I find the app in the Google Play Store? I want to uninstall/reinstall to see if that will fix it, but I can't find the app to download and reinstall.

Within the Google Play Store, I have searched "2+2 Forums", "2+2, "two plus two forums", "twoplustwo forums", and other variations, but I still can't find it. Where can I download the app from?

The app is no longer available for download. It's also no longer supported. Any problems you have with it aren't going to get fixed. The problems you're describing are happening to a lot of people though, it's not just you. There's another thread here about it.

It really sucks that they abandoned the 2+2 app for the worthless tapatalk-nonsense.

I'm still using the 2+2 app for my mobiles because I'd rather use a browser than ****ing tapatalk, but yea - it's getting buggier and buggier as time goes by since it's not getting updated.

Yeah, it's every page. If you can scroll down so the OP is at or near the top of your phone, it should appear. But then you might have to scroll up slowly to read the whole thing. Don't scroll too fast or it will disappear again.

Logging in almost every time I return sucks

Ok I finally dowloaded tapatalk and am getting the hang of it, actually a better experience than the old app since it got all buggy, this not showing posts issue was the final straw

Its nice being able to to see gifs and all pics now

If only this forum had a bunch of software engineers who could collectively work on an open source version of the app and provide updates and support

As other members mentioned that 2+2 app is no longer available on app store , but if you somehow have the apk file of the app and you are not able to use it after you updated your phone to marshmallow. the first thing you should do to check whether the app working on lollipop or not , becoz lot of apps have problems with marshmallow update.
