There have been several cases where posts from the old forums other than the OP didn't migrate (yeti's tr, the my first hooker tr, etc). Now i've had some weirdness involving posts made on the new forums (Although my first post in the thread was pre-upgrade).

In the following pic you will see the forums said the last post in the thread was mine. I then opened it but didn't see any of my replies, nor did i see the reply of someone that replied to me. I hit ctrl-f5 a couple of times but they were still missing. Then I searched the page for stabn but could only find my name in the header. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15.../wtfwtfwtf.jpg

I then opened a Firefox window instead of IE and saw the posts fine. I signed in and could still see them. I refreshed the page in IE and still couldn't see them. I signed out in IE and could see them, signed back in and could see them.

Ya'll gots some weird **** goin on mang.

Let me know if you continue to spot anything like this with newer threads. There obviously was some trouble with certain threads being imported correctly.

I vaguely remember an option that had something to do with showing all posts.

That wouldn't fix anything related to the problems we've seen with some imported threads.

Yes, found what I was thinking about. Go into the Options under My 2+2 and under Thread Display Options, it has a Default Thread Age Cut Off.
I have mine for Show All Threads.

Not sure if that has anything to do with what OP is asking.

I have mine set to show all posts ( i first tried this instead of the two weeks i had it on after seeing missing posts in some of the imported threads). So that isn't related.

It seems that for any long-running thread, OP and all posts made after 9/1/2007 imported properly, but posts made between OP and 8/31/2007 were left behind.

Yah i think those he knows and doesn't plan on doing anything about. It is missing posts from new threads which could be a concern (since all of the old posts are still on forumserver).

We're looking into ways to fix missing imported posts. Hopefully we can do that.

Anything new, though, would be a big concern for me.
