Hi,
is there any chance to search for that?
I only want to see if somebody has made a new post in a thread where I have posted. By clicking on this thread it should take me to the first new post after my initial posting.

Thanks!

First step is to auto-subscribe to threads you post in. Select "My 2+2" from the bar along the top of the forum, then select "Edit Options"

Now scroll down to "Messaging and Notification" and select anything other than "Do Not Subscribe." I'm not sure whether the email notifications actually work (I vaguely recall someone saying they don't), but I don't want all those emails anyway so I chose "no email notifications."

Once you're subscribing to threads you post in, all you have to do is view your subscriptions and jump to the first unread post in whichever thread you want to catch up on. Select "Subscribed Threads" from the "My 2+2" dropdown.

And now you just click the magic arrow on any thread you're not up to date with, to jump straight to the first unread post.

@Noodle

Well I dont want to open every single sub forum and to search for both icons.

@LostOstrich

Basically that means, I have to subscribe to EVERY thread I am posting? Okay, thatīs is some workaround for my problem.

Also is there any button where I can see ALL new post made since my last visit?

You post in about 4 threads every year. People who post in 4 threads a day manage to make due with LostOstrich's method. I'm sure you can too.

What is the downside?

You get auto-subscribed once the setting LO points to is set and from there on it all works just as you seem to want. Should you post in a thread you don't want to see, you can unsubscribe from it whenever you want.

You specify "have to subscribe to EVERY thread" like it's some chore or nuisance. It just works.
