I liked the blue checkmark to see what threads I posted in. I don't think the envelope icons are providing that info. Can we get the checkmark back?

Yes you were the first one to notice that the sidebar lacked contrast. The text should have been a little bit more black. I've changed it and it's a bit better now, but we will consider making it even more contrast, perhaps white on black like you've suggested.

Good point. We have also noticed that it's a bit too grey. I think we gonna definitely add a few colorful themes but the default for everyone who's not logged in or who hasn't changed a theme would be this grey one

why don't you made it dynamic where the server detects whether or not it's a mobile device and only feeds mobile version to a mobile device?

Post report buttons are almost invisible. Also, I think they'd be better over to the left where they always were, but I can see how that might not work well with the new look.

Agree, it was too invisible. It's more visible now, let's see if this way works, if people don't like it we gonna move it to the original place.

It would really help to hear some specifics for why you like the old one better.
That being said, I understand that sometimes there is no explanation for why you dislike something, if subconscious part of your brain tells you it looks awful then you just have to agree

Is it? Threads I've posted in seem to have a slightly different red envelope, among all the other red envelopes, for me, and that's it. (I realize now that that was always the case, and I probably never even noticed before.) I keep up with about 5 regional venues/discussions in the V&C forum and will basically never read any of the hundreds of other threads there, so being able to find those threads I've subscribed to or posted in at a glance is huge for me.

Kinda like it so far otherwise. About time this place got a coat of paint.

ETA: People's "about me" pages are gone, I just noticed, if you are running low on bugs....

If you edit a post on a smaller screen (like a phone), the edit box is narrower than the post, there are no scroll bars, and pinching doesn't allow me to zoom the text in or the page out. The result is that editing can be difficult; nothing on the right side can be directly edited.

Edit to add: Trying it here on my desktop, the edit box is the same, which makes sense. The issue is that on my desktop browser, the text just wraps with shorter lines in the edit box, but on my phone (using Chrome), the wrapping remains the same as in the post itself, so the text goes outside the box. I'll add a screenshot, as I don't know if I'm making sense.



Hopefully that makes it clearer. Basically, about the last 1/4 of each line can't be edited without somewhat painfully working around the limitation.

This. To be clear, the "About Me" tab is still there, but clicking on it just brings up an empty tab.

And finally (and this is completely a matter of personal taste), I find the text after a quote tag to be a little closer than what I like. I might be alone in this, but I like a little more space between quotes and the rest of the post, something like a quarter or half a line to separate them. Pretty minor, and I can appreciate the desire to keep things compact (especially for phones). Maybe it's better this way; just giving my two cents. Actually, just looked again on my phone, and it looks pretty good there. So if it was easy to do, I'd just increase that spacing a bit on bigger screens. But that's just me.

Previously, on any forum page we could click on the number of replies in a thread, and a small "Who's Posted" box would open, listing all the posters from the thread and how many posts they had made. In said box, you could click on a posters name and get a page with their posts in that thread. Now, the number of replies is no longer clickable.

When looking at PM's on an Android I am not seeing a link, which exists in the left side menu on the desktop, to create/send a new message.

I noticed that I am sometimes getting the advertising to view the site on Tapatalk.

You may want to kill that. Also when trying to save a link to the site on my homescreen it comes up with the tapatalk logo and not 2+2.

Yeah, you got both of those, and the About Me, as well as the reply counts bringing up the "Who's Posted" box. Nice! And is it just me, or have you been able to start adding some of the moderation tools back in? Or maybe those were already there.

I'm not seeing any arrows or other way to get to the first unread post on my Android phone, using Chrome. I was sure there was a way I could do it in this theme several days ago, but now I'm puzzled. No problem doing this on my desktop or laptop browsers.

Edit to add: Hmm...it seems that clicking on the number of posts does it. Is that how it was before? Works for me now that I know it, but it seems terribly unintuitive. But, it's a lot easier than clicking on tiny arrows. So I'd say from usability perspective it's far better than other themes, but it might be difficult for people to find.
