Over 70% of people have voted Yes to ban signatures. It is not hard to understand. Did you miss the part of the vote that is "Yes, except 1-2 word poster's real name sigs."?

Your signature definitely doesn't fall under that caveat. That means they would be for allowing a a "Walter" or "Mason" at the bottom of a post. In other words over 70% of people are AGAINST YOUR STUPID IS MISE SIGNATURE and think it should be banned.

edit: And to the mods, it really is ridiculous that that dude in the thread gets warned for using a joke signature when you let tompakee keep using his damned signature that numerous people have complained about.

Why is it ridiculous? Is there some rule that he is violating that I'm not aware of? Is it ridiculous that some mods have a different threshold of what is acceptable than you do? Sorry we don't all think exactly the same way that you do.

That's not to say his sig will always be allowed, but that hardly means it's ridiculous that he's allowed to use it.

I see 52.48% of people are saying yes to a definite ban. If tyou allow 1 - 2 word sigs then you might as well allow all sigs. This was only put in because Mason always signs his posts and there is no way any mod will tell him he cannot.

anywho as Bobo said i am not breaking any rules and it's pretty hilarious that with all that's going on in the world a couple of forum "regs" are getting their panties all knotted up over an extra few words on the end of a post!

Well, regardless of what I said about the rules, it's pretty clear you're trying to weasel out of what you said earlier. The 1-2 word sig has nothing to do with Mason, because obviously a rule could be put in place that Mason wouldn't need to follow.

71% of respondents clearly don't like anything beyond a 1-2 word sig of your real name. Over 78% of those who expressed an opinion feel the same way.


You thought sigs only bothered a few people, and have been proven very wrong. You went so far as to put a % on what it would take to convince you to stop using it. It's not like you signed a binding contract, so if you want to try to go back on this now, that's up to you.

This all came up because you claimed you weren't doing it to annoy people; seems like it's getting harder for you to defend that stance IMO.
