Discourse does a really cool thing with post replies where quoted text doesn't show up by default, but you can click to see it. At the very least, quotes should only display as snippets of x number of characters, with the option to expand to see the entire quote.
There is absolutely nothing worse than someone making a 5,000 word post, and then the next two replies quote the entire thing just to post "lol", and you have to scroll past 15,000 words to get to the next post. This is the only thing Tapatalk actually does well.
And **** all of you who think Max and Andrii are smart enough to implement a user-friendly infinite scroll. I think this is the only way to get live-loading posts, which we needed 10 years ago for game day threads in SE, but I guess it doesn't matter now since nobody posts there anymore.
major issue is on tapatalk people can drop social links like youtube and it automatically embeds whereas people on the web version don't see the embed but rather get a link
minor nitpick but would be nice to have unified views so everyone looking at the same thing

Complete nonsense. We're all adults here and everyone knows exactly what's being said when they see a bunch of asterisks anyway and mentally fills it in.
Promoting intelligent discussion does of course require proper moderation and banning trolls, but we can see what direction the site is actually going in there.

this 100%
but at least unblock the phrase a*d* b*l*o*c*k*e*r*
profanity filter doesn't force politeness, it more just makes people find alternatives like douchebag or jizzface
the idea i can call someone a dick or a tard but not a ****wit on a gambling site is a weird feel imo
I'm voting to get rid of the profanity filter as well. Sometimes words are blocked out that aren't even profanity. But, if that isn't going to happen, can we at least have a few letters to make out what is being said.
For example:
dumbass = du**a**
******* = a**h***
***** = bi***
etc...
For page navigation I think simpler is better. Basically something similar to the web version only make those buttons bigger than other stuff on the page since they are used more often.

We are building a place for intelligent discussion. Getting rid of the profanity filter doesn't correlate with this goal.
Intelligent discussion has very little, if anything, to do with whether or not profanity is used.
There may be reasons for having a profanity filter in place, but that is not one of them.
Quite a few of the most intelligent people on this planet use profanity. Like the rest of the words of a language, profanity can be used intelligently or stupidly.
This is very exciting news about the launching of the mobile app for the 2+2 forums. We just designed an app called PokerHUB which is now available on the istore and google play. Would love to see if you'd be interested in partnering in any way, I'm pretty open to ideas. You can direct message me on pokerhubapp instagram. Hope to speak with you soon!

The same argument can be made to keep the filter as people can mentally fill it in.
