Just curious, how long does someone have to bring nothing to the table, argue with everyone in every post, cultivate an Ignore list a mile long, and just be a general yambag before they are cut loose?

I'm here so that I can give my opinion based on what the 6 or more so far have said about my posts...

I'll be forward and admit that I sometimes post more in response to some things than I should. However...I really view it as a back and forth discussion of opinions based on what I feel is part of this website....to freely (within reason) discuss issues, not as a way to troll or feed my online ego...as I've accused others of doing recently. I respond to questions or comments when I see them directed at me, but sometimes maybe I shouldn't respond.

But I'll say this...there's a lot of instances in which my opinion has been met with a pile of angst for no reason..when another way of addressing it could have been done which might have lead to a different response from me...which in turn might have changed the end result seen some threads.

The one thing I still see (which I can handle) is that some folks have just gone all out to pile on for no reason except because they see certain posters share the same view, which makes no sense...when I'm being accused of the same nit-type style of posting.

Maybe I've used sarcastic phrases and insults towards people that shouldn't have been said in such a manner...again, I'm human and can admit my faults.

Hopefully going forward...I can get a little insight about the 2p2 community. There's certain lingo I still don't know...there's a lot of other things I still need to understand.

But I don't think just because a small percentage of people find my posts offensive, derailing, etc. should cause one person to be banned...when there's piles of examples to show how much other nonsense goes on that goes unreported or undiscussed.

To me, it just all goes back to the same thing...discussing opinions, sharing theories and ideas...while being able to discuss them so we can all learn more.

That OP is the one good thing to come out of all this nonsense. I rarely frequent the B&M forum so without JBS drawing so much negative attention to himself, I would have completely missed out on frank's wonderful OP.
