I will admit that I use to one when I posted on AOL, but it got confusing and left gaps in the conversation when people would make references to something said by a person I was ignoring.
you could have saved yourself a lot of typing by simply never reading the politics forum
Given that I have matured as I have aged and no longer consider myself a Republican or a Democrat (and I have been both), I could really start a flame war if I went in there.

Don't just go in there unarmed. You need a thesaurus and a dictionary. And something to smash your face with.

Trust me, I have all three. As the great G. Gordon Liddy once said, "Gentlemen, in a battle of wits, you are unarmed."

Most there people smash their face with their keyboard.
Well, goodbye forum. See you on the other side (of the software change). I have to give SWMBO a chance at the computer before we leave for the evening.

I didn't use one for a long time, but you get trolled enough by the same people and it turns out to be incredibly useful.

Really?
Cumulonimbus was one of those Loose Change fans, greg nice is one of those post UIGEA "my country sucks but I'm too much of a pussy to leave" dudes and I don't even remember why RoundTower made the list. I'm starting over with a clean slate for the vBulletin era.
Since it seems the majority of those posters are/were politics and SMP regulars, I want to say that your list is remarkably well balanced. You have identified the worst trolls of the entire spectrum, and clearly haven't just sought to ignore those with opposing views.
I don't read SMP, but SMP, Politics, and Sporting Events are really all the same forum. Just insert Jesus, George Bush, or the Red Sox/Patriots as needed.
I remember this guy. Did he ever come back under a new user name or did he just pack it in? I'm sure he'd be hard to miss hanging out in the politics forum if he was still around.
