I see.

Problem is, I don't wanna stream too much on my twitch at the moment. I have one but I only stream if I am in an important deep run like during that run of the WCOOP 55$ for example.

Edit: Now that I read your message again, perhaps you meant to stream the video itself on the twitch channel?? That could be an idea maybe...

I prefer having a bit of control on the editing, so I can make the video as interesting as possible, and then release it. So far, it seems that finding an audience is very hard. My video game section on my channel has more action and more positive comments overall.

On the poker section of my channel i have one final table video. My FT video has more dislikes than likes and only negative comments, even some that I had to delete because they were very bad haha. On 1.5k views I got 3 subs out of all those views! But my channel wasn't that developped back then so there's that.

Very tough audience it seems so far. Maybe it will come with time?

Ok buddy I'm going to tell you this once. Other than the twitch thing suggestioni post by PP, the following link is to the one thread on this forum that might accept your stuff and let you do your thing. It is supposed to be a Vegas only thread but it has been bastardized for several months by some very popular non-vegas poker vloggers. Anyhow, this is the go to place on here for poker vloggers.

So if your vlog is about real life live poker you can come to the thread and try your luck.

All the best. I don't sense that you are going to spam but if you do you are history.

No online stuff. It has to be live.

I hope your next post is there. I will check it out.

The big rule:
It has to be live. If it's online then PP's suggestion of the Twitch is your only option.

Unfortunately, I play only online for now. Thank you for taking the time to answer me and for trying to help.

Make a lot of deep runs in online tournaments and win a few. Then when they are discussed in the forums here you can share your own experiences. This will gain you a following that will only snowball as you continue to take down big tourneys.

Seriously though it seems like your goal is to monetize your poker playing with a YouTube channel versus being good at poker. I am neither good at poker or well versed in the current streamverse. I certainly know enough that the environment is much different than it was 12 plus years ago.

I think without a hook you are not going to see success via YouTube. Good players and/or players with large personalities and a crazy gene might be able to pull in an audience. Highly edited videos of mediocre poker by a normal guy is not likely to move the needle.

Given the two potential paths and knowing how extremely difficult it is to make a successful living as a poker player in 2019, I would still say trying to get better at poker has better odds (albeit extremely long) than your poker YouTube channel.

In fact given all the options seems like music might be your best path, although again an extremely tough row to hoe. Are you aware of how many hours of poker videos are published every day? What would your stand out be?

If you want to utilize two plus two I recommend spending a lot of time reading forums of interest to you. I recommend lots of reading versus posting. Each forum can have slightly different rules and norms but if you participate you might find people who are naturally inclined to watch your videos or seeing your music or whatever.

I would say most people who end up profiting off of YouTube do so by creating/doing something they enjoy first and then monetizing it. It feels like you are trying to find a niche you can exploit to create a YouTube revenue stream. Undoubtedly some people have succeeded doing that but the odds have to be microscopic compared to just sharing a real passion or knowledge.

Disclaimer so you don’t put too much into this, I don’t like poker or YouTube videos.
