grey gory ohhhh - the imgur link in your examples is causing the issue, it is missing the leading "i." in front of the imgur URL and isn't getting redirected the the appropriate URL when it attempts to load.
imgur URLs linking directly to images should look like: i.imgur.com/(filename)
the broken images you have linked look like: imgur.com/(filename)
the broken images are missing the leading "i." from the URL, which means they try to load the indirect imgur link (even though it looks like a direct one - this is a case of lol imgur) instead of the direct one.
The indirect link is not an image, it's a page that contains the image.
When you insert the leading "i." into the url, it works fine.

If you directly copy/paste
https://imgur.com/OdEeFHA.jpg into your URL window, you will get redirected to
https://i.imgur.com/OdEeFHA.jpg when it loads. The cache retrieval isn't redirecting, so you get the broken image result.
