That suggestion should start over in BFI, to see what mods and posters think. Could also be that some thread clean-up would help.

Whilst there is no doubt that the politics forum is popular, should it be in the popular tab if one actually looks at the discussions that are being had? For existing members it is ok as most know not to visit but I am more thinking newer members as it might turn some of them off from posting.

At the very least there should be a visible warning to newcomers who aren't lefties that you will be personally attacked viciously for your views and banned if you fight back.

You're something of a slow nit, because it's been that way for years.

But if it makes your inner nit feel better, look at it this way.

Other topics go in the Other Topics category. But Other Other Topics go somewhere else. The only place that wouldn't make sense for it to be, is in Other Topics.
