Oops, when I checked your link there were only five forums in the Popular Forums section, all poker. Now there are 12. Things advancing fast.

Sometimes it seems like the Games and Business sections can get busy-ish - but guess adding them to the list might make the list too long?

Yeah, there's a couple of factors at play. Like you said, we don't want to make the list too long, or it loses its effectiveness. One could argue that it's already too long. And the list is also a mix of popularity and usefulness. For example, Beginners Questions isn't likely in the top 11 busiest forums, but it's extremely useful for new posters to see it right away. BBV, on the other hand, probably is in the top 11 busiest, but not that many people come here aiming to find it first. While all of those forums are quite active, and several of them are at the top of the traffic list, it's not a literal top 11 list by traffic. And it's also not in order of popularity, although of course NVG is #1 by a long ways. OOT and SE, at the bottom of the list are typically top 5, if not top 3, forums.

The list is also something we could change up now and then, if we think there's reason to swap some or make the list shorter or longer.

And I'd say now that I am done.

If anyone sees any big issues, or has any questions or concerns, fire away!

Where are you finding this link? Is it from a bookmark you have used in the past, or is this somewhere on the forums?

I've done some reorganizing in that group that I think will make it work better, but I'm glad to hear some feedback if it's not working for some. I'm adding some links as a result of a comment made by someone else.

I don't *think* any links are misplaced; what you're seeing is likely intentional, but perhaps needs tweaking.

As mentioned, the sidebar changes will be a week or two in coming. They're a little more work, and are done by someone else, so I want to make sure we're happy with the changes we've made before I give that person a list of all the sidebar changes we'll need.

The whole roll-out of the favorites list makes me uncomfortable but mostly because it DOESN'T show action and BBV is missing.

I understand why we can't include 2p2's most prestigious forum but that doesn't mean I can't feel a lil' hurt.

I'm finding the front page change a significant improvement. (Assuming there has been a change, and I haven't just found something different.)

The 'Links to Popular' Forums without latest threads ect I find a bit strange. I tend to just scroll past that.

Well, that part was only discussed in this thread for a couple of months (I've merged your thread here), and we had an announcement up for a month or two, so I can see why you'd be puzzled.

But as for this...

Yeah, that's a ****-up. Sidebar was just redone in the last few hours to match the main forum page, and it looks like Communities isn't showing up for some reason. We're on it.

Twice, one million times - pretty much the same thing.

Everything is still where it should be, just missing that category on the sidebar, which hopefully will be fixed shortly.
