Is there a way to pull up threads from 3-5 yrs ago? I've tried the search function + archives(threads are much older) with no luck.

There are a few sets of archives.

Did you try the ubb archives?

Just tried searching through those, no luck. WTF?! It's telling me 'No matches found' when I'm quite sure there should be threads coming up.

You can also use google for this btw, for the archives gtpitch linked to for example just add
site:archives1.twoplustwo.com
in front of your search query. This way you can search the archives without using the not so friendly ubb search.

Maybe not working if you need archives2 which goes until Dec 31, 2015. I searched once and then when I tried again it said I had to wait a few minutes. Tried again and search worked, though the few minutes delay between attempts makes it unusable.

If I try to browse archives2 it doesn't display any threads
