Failed Login by someone else.. hack??? Failed Login by someone else.. hack???

I got three messages in my email last night noting that 2+2 detected 5 failed login attempts, and they provided the IP addresses for each try.

I looked them up and I am no techie, but they seem to all be associated with companies that reroute internet traffic. KeFF Networks, Amsterdam. FranTech, Wyoming; and Digit Oceans (London I think).

I have no idea what someone would gain from accessing my 2+2 account.

Is this some coordinated effort to get info on me, or a broader attack on 2+2.

Thoughts??

EDIT. I should add that the 5 attempts (15 in total) took place at 3:45 AM, 3:45 AM and 3:46 AM.. sounds like a programmed thing to me....

With a 14 year history, and nearly 19,000 posts, I assume the hacker would attempt to use you as a trustworthy poster for some sort of fraud. It doesn't make a lot of sense here, but scammers look for every snake hole they can find.

Make sure you have a good, strong password. Shouldn't be a problem.

Same. They tried to go after some other gambling accounts as well. Use a password manager, good passwords, and 2fa.
