Like he doesn't think we should use collective nouns at all or he thinks that misapplying them is 'a tell'? I doubt (but could be wrong) that his problem is with the grouping of likeminded individuals who share common characteristics (mechanics are good at fixing cars). I think lefty is utterly non descriptive even in a vacuum, and has no shared definition even among the usual suspects in this thread except maybe 'person I am currently mad about'. Whereas I think deplorable is quite well defined and a useful shorthand. Typing out misfit reddit/4chan gamergate adjacent edge lord who straddles the line between trolling with nazi frogs and openly supporting white supremacist rhetoric would get tedious.

I assume you would rather be called liberals?

if anyone is sperging out on definitions right now, this would be what you call a hysterical mob of nazi hunters. we do have antifa apologists. if youre sperging out on the definition of SJW, well defending or supporting the violent suppression of free speech definitely doesn't make you a liberal and qualifies you for SJW labelling

Here’s a thought to consider at some point in your life:

It’s entirely possible you might not be right literally all the time.
