shouldn't it show an "edited by..." when someone edits a post after there has been a reply to it? it's kind of weird when a reply looks like it's referencing a non-existant post

You have 5 minutes to ninja edit your posts, before it starts reporting the edit...

Posts can also be deleted throughout the entire edit period, as well as by mods without time limit...

If you are concerned about your post not making sense, you should quote the relevant part of what you are responding to.

if you're anti ninja you can do non-ninja edits by putting something into the edit box

i like to do this sometimes to make people think that i'm not a ninja
