Hi,
I play on absolute and I cannot post hands. It is a big problem for me because I need to post hands to improve.
When I try to post a hand : I see this message :

''
We have decided to no longer support hand histories from UltimateBet or Absolute Poker due to the cheating scandals at their poker rooms. Please read http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...d.php?t=251207 for a more complete summary of this.''

Is there a way to post hands on 2+2 ?

Thank you

It doesn't convert. Nothing shows up in the text box when I hit convert. Been working fine until tonight. Tried 2 different browsers... any ideas? Thanks.

Its just this hand that doesnt work I think.

BTW I don't think the hand converter works with ongame NL hands - well, if it can, I can't get it to work.

If Ongame's not supported yet I'm happy to contribute a bunch of HHs if that helps. Here's an example:

The player with the special characters in his name was messing things up - I changed his name slightly and it worked fine, shouldn't be an ongoing issue.

Yup that was extracted from Pokertracker - I'm pretty sure it's also the same data which I can extract from the local hand history file in \documents and settings\user\application data\p5 folder (not sure if it's the exact directory format: it's something to that effect, at least). amidoingitwrong?

Which reminds me: I need to watch your DC triple draw series.

For some reason the hh converter doesnt work for me. why is this?
01-06-2010 , 05:55 PM
umm, I don't know? Has it worked before and it just stopped working now? Or have you never been able to get it working properly. Why don't you give it a try right now so I can see what the error looks like.
01-06-2010 , 06:09 PM
I copy the hand (FT) into the converter, push convert, and nothing happens.
01-06-2010 , 06:13 PM
post the unconverted hh here, i haven't used the converter myself in a while, but i've seen other people posting hhs that don't seem to have any problems.

you don't use noscript or anything like that right?

you're also not getting a "No valid hand data could be detected" error?

there is a converter thread in this forum that you can check though, and I'm sure this thread will get merged into there eventually.
01-06-2010 , 06:16 PM
Is not an issue of the unconverted HH. I have tried several of them and none works. I tried from another computer but it didnt work either. I dont have noscript.

Please help admins!!

what web browser do you use?

It could be your editor mode in case you have that clicked. If you've switched editor modes then the converter won't output anything.

I really think you should just take a look at the official converter thread and see if anyone had this problem.
01-06-2010 , 06:38 PM
It was the editor mode. I fixed it swithing it from wysiwyg to standard. Thnks chokie!

BTW, nice image in your avtr. where is it taken from?

There are some annoyances about the hand converter. It would be much appreciated to fix them.

1) you want to start reading the hand starting from the UTG, or in its defect from the earliest non blind posting position. Curently it orders the stacks sizes according to seat number, which has no sense to me.

2) When tourneys get shorthanded, it would be much better to just eliminate the earliest postion, intead of always moving UTG one seat ahead.

In the meanwhile, I am sticking to the weaktight.com converter.
