I’m a long time 2+2er, I have been reading these forums for 10-15 years. NVG used to be a place where you would find the funniest memes and many threads got derailed in creative and funny way.

Nowadays NVG is just full of stuff about cheaters and scammers, people are only arguing and talking bad about other users, only thing I like to read is the High Stakes thread.

But I click on the other topics as well, and in a way I’m silently contributing my support for these topics and messages even when I can’t really say I enjoy reading them.

I would prefer Highs Stakes thread to be in a different sub-forum so I wouldn’t need to open NVG anymore. Or at least I would open / read it alot less.

Can't you just bookmark the high stakes thread?

I have no strong opinion which forum that thread should be in though. One thing to consider: Once a thread gets moved out of NVG it's going to receive significantly less traffic.

Fair point about the traffic, although I think this particular thread wouldn’t be that much affected.

However, regarding the traffic, I think this discussion would be more fruitful in NVG because of the long history of NVG + high stakes thread.

I for example never read this sub-forum. I think the topic is interesting and I think there are many users who share the same feeling.

As you don't read NVG, (by choice), nor ATF, please let us know which forums you do read, and the sub-forum to which you would prefer the subject thread be moved, then we can all give informed consideration to your request without making another mistake that doesn't suit your reading habits.

Last month's thread had almost 60,000 views, so, imo, it's difficult to think it is totally in the wrong place at this time.

There's a huge numbers of users who visit NVG and nothing else. Number of views would certainly drop if the thread wasn't in NVG anymore.

The question if active participants of that thread thought the quality of the thread would improve by not being in NVG anymore. If that's the case we would have to see if those improvements would outweigh the drop in views and the potential drop in participation by non-regulars.

So far I struggle to see why we wouldn't just advise users to ignore everything else in NVG if they're not interested in that content. Basically the same way we tell people who ask for an active thread to be closed: If you don't like the thread, don't click on it.

Maybe if you would spend more time on argumenting than cheap sarcasm, you could deliver your point better.

NVG is the most read forum so naturally HST gets alot of views there. However, if it would be for example in high stakes forum, it would be in more fitting place.

This thread fits better to NVG since it’s a view. HST is 95% hand histories

We don't have a high stakes forum anymore. The one online poker strategy forum we still have is almost exclusively occupied by micro stakes players because a public forum hasn't been a setting for discussing high stakes hands in well over a decade.

The high stakes thread has historically been in NVG because it was basically a high stakes fan thread with occasional participation from high stakes players. Did that change?
