If there were something that mitigates his posts, it shouldn’t take a lot of time to post what that is. If he doesn’t, then he’s telling us his posts speak for themselves, and we should take them at face value.

Silence is the best strategy when anything he could say would make it worse. It’s why guilty defendants are advised not to testify. It works better than denial, becoming defensive, or lashing out at your accusers. Those things really bring out the torches and pitchforks. But silence is also very aggressive. It’s passive aggressive. It’s saying our concerns aren’t even worth his time. That he owes us nothing. No apology. No explanation. No commitment to do better. If there is some deeper meaning to his posts, then his silence says that if we’re too dumb to get it, then **** us. You should imagine him saying exactly that, and respond accordingly.

Indeed. Stirring up social division and acrimony about racism complements the goals of political racists. They'd have you and me fighting over triviality like what words really mean while trying to seize power under false pretenses.

I didn't call Wookie a racist. I called him a racist apologist, meaning he was an apologist for racist statements. Sorry for the confusion. "Racism apologist" would have been better. I can't edit it anymore, but mods please change that before a lot more people take umbrage.

There shouldn't be anything controversial there. The people who excused those racist statements are apologists for them. That's what being an apologist means. I assume they would put themselves in that category.

Where’s the value in Zeno’s rants?

Your whole argument hinges on what you find to be believable. But IIRC, don’t you find it believable that some dude rose from the dead 2000 years ago? I only bring it up because I think Mat’s old man might object to his idea of handing the reins of 2+2 completely over to someone who’s critical thinking skills have led them to that belief.
