Moderator Rapini exhibited this conduct unbecoming in the OOT Containment thread:



Piling on the inappropriate (and in quite bad taste) insult with a thumbs up is conduct unbecoming of a moderator iyam.

So I responded in turn to Rapini who then infracted me just because he can do it.





I know the points will expire within an hour but isn't it accepted practice to *not* infract a poster unless they are posting in that specific moderator's forum?

Rapini may say that he only did it as a joke. However a moderator should show some class and not use the infraction process in such a manner.

Thank you for your time and attention with this matter.

My answer was the infraction in the OP.

I meant to create a profile infraction. So if I really did--without my knowledge--somehow gain the power to make infractions for posts in OOT, I apologize to the OOT mods for doing so.

I would have given him an infraction for posting "****tiest".

There may have been some silly attempt at censoring the word, but I think that, in the context of the sentence, every single reader knew exactly what he was writing, and therefore we all instantly said the filthy and uncensored word in our own heads.

Totally unacceptable, imo. He should have written, at worst, "Says the **** Mod on 2p2", giving some doubt as to the subject word.

IIRC Rapini attempted to have me demodded for doing by accident(I was modding on my phone for the first time ever while traveling) what he just did on purpose. As always, lolrapini.

Actually, I think it just became LOL U or OP. I assumed this thread was a joke, just as the infraction obviously was. If it wasn't, LOL OP. If it was, LOL U for trying to use this to write yet another chapter in your tediously boring lolrapini book.

But back to what you said - Rapini tried to have you demodded for accidentally giving someone a joke infraction? How does one even do that accidentally?

As someone who is firmly in the lolrapini camp, my ruling is that he gets a pass on this one as McLovin both asked for and fully deserved what he got.
