Can we have a Crypto Currency sub-forum in BFI? - Page 2 - About the Forums

Can you post an example? As a BFI regular with a decent sense of the community I hardly ever see much in that forum that I think is anywhere close to being worthy of snap bans, but I don't read every post either. I think the BFI mods are doing a good job and address anything that needs addressing pretty quickly.

A decade old account with less than 500 post counts trolling the cryptothreads after the BTC meltdown should be an obvious ban.

Example? I'm interested to see what you are referring to but not going to go searching through hundreds or thousands of posts. Depending what was said many of us may or may not agree.

In all seriousness, BFI has been a good place for getting reasonable financial/investment information. There are some regs who know what they're talking about; I know I've learned a few useful things from it. Cryptomania has certainly degraded the quality of BFI, but I think that will be a self-regulating problem once the bubble deflates.

It's also unfortunate that 2p2's resident alt-right white supremacist troll has taken up shop in BFI after getting exiled from the rest of the site. I assume jalexand just isn't familiar with his past work or whatever. Probably the BFI mods will eventually get tired of his Reddit cuckoldry shtick.
