Book marking a thread - possible to route to latest page? Book marking a thread - possible to route to latest page?

Greetings.

Lets say I book mark a thread on 2+2 that is currently 300 pages long. If I book mark it and click the bookmark it will direct me to page 300 ....okay great. Not so fast actually, at some point page 300 is yesterday news and the thread is now on page 320. In which we will click the book mark and be brought to page 300 and need to click "Last Page" every time.

My question is simple - anyway to set the bookmark so it opens the most latest page? There are a few big threads I check on here that I frequently read and just seeing if its possible to save a few extra clicks if at all possible. Thank you kindly.

A bookmark that automatically goes to the first unread post would be

I've been using a Greasemonkey script to make the thread links always point to the first unread for years, but I think the easiest way to figure it out is to just look at the URL on the links for the same "go to first new post" arrows on the thread list that Bobo mentioned.
