Big changes!! - Page 16 - About the Forums

Okay. Let’s say the werewolf game was postponed by a week. IE It started on May 4 and lasted for a week. How you would rate the chance of the move happening during that timeframe?

Also, for how long would the forums be unavailable during the move?

the forums will remain open. but for about 5 days every post made will be lost when the switch is complete. we'll have more information in the coming days about where we're at. we need to collect user feedback and make sure there aren't functional issues that need to be made before moving.

design issues and minor functional issues can and will be addressed after the move.

Sorry to be a pest but it’s super important to me (and the 60+ players that signed up for this game, I reckon) to receive your best possible estimate. If we want to get the best chance to avoid a move during our game, should we start it on April 27 or on May 4?

I honestly can't tell you right now. But if forced to answer, I say April 27. Ideally you try and do it before April 27.

Unfortunately we cannot do that any earlier than April 27.

So do I understand this correctly

1) the move will take about 5 days
2) the forums will be accessible while the move is ongoing
3) the posts made in these 5 days will disappear, but only AFTER the move is complete.

Is that all correct?

I think we have the reason why they are shifting to vanilla forums as at least according to this source (https://www.similartech.com/compare/...s-vbulletin-4x) it is the preferred forum software for gambling websites.
