I got temp banned in the politics section a few days ago after someone called me a name that got filtered out. I simply replied , "you seem angry." Ban. This was after being called a name and after my suicidal tendencies of last year were brought up for no reason at all. These people weren't banned yet I was. I think it's simply because I'm a conservative. Has anyone else experienced this bias?

sorry, just read the sticky about this behavior. mods please delete. last time i was temp banned i pmed the mod and asked why, no response. same thing this time. not sure what to do.

You could try waiting longer than 2 hours to get a response.

You’ve got previous infractions and such, and as such the next step for you was a temp ban. The other offender had no previous infractions so received a warning, which is the first step.

You shouldn't be a mod Loki and maybe Wookie shouldn't be either. You don't do your job. I get temp-banned for being a dick to people whereas when those people are dicks to me they don't get banned. And that type of **** has gone on forever in there. You allowed people to cross certain lines in the Mason thread that shouldn't be allowed. You allow toxic behavior to go on so long as you agree with posters rather than do it without bias regardless whether it is trolling or sincere posts.

I didn't though, Crispen. And a lot of the right wing trolls deserve to be exiled for not trying to be productive posters. However, a lot of the posters are the same people who ganged up on Ikes and turned him into a bigger monster than he already was instead of just letting Ikes being Ikes and ignore him (which would have helped), and now have done the same thing with Keed or whoever says stuff they find ridiculous.

Politics is toxic because the way it is modded.

Despite finding Mason's views foolish in his thread, he still didn't deserve some of the more egregious insults slung at him. Basically you have a group who act just as bad as the people they dislike.

and to loki's point that the others received a warning, I never received a warning the first time I was temp banned and all I did was repeated the same name calling that another had done to me. the reason they gave for banning me? I didn't site a good reason for calling someone a name. lol. whereas, the other person who called me a name had good reason for doing so. crazy
